An general assessment to measure if a child is developing
physically, emotionally, and cognitively would be an appropriate test for school
aged children as far as an IQ assessment although voluntary is an highly publicized
test. Majority of assessment test in the United States are standardized test challenging a child's intelligence not their development. In order to improved education we need to focus more on measuring children cognitive, physical and emotional development not solely their cognitive intelligence.
